Functional yarns/fibers

Functional yarns/fibers

Textile mills typically blend graphene masterbatch with conventional synthetic fibers(such as polyester, nylon)and perform spinning, thereby producing 「graphene composite yarn」 with multiple powerful functions。

Incorporating graphene into textile fibers can impart the following core advantages to fabrics:

  • Far-infrared and heat retention: Graphene can absorb heat emitted by the human body and convert it into beneficial far-infrared(FIR)that is reflected back to the skin。This not only promotes microvascular circulation at the skin surface, but also achieves excellent heat storage and warming effects, making it a top material in recent years for 「heating garments」 and 「thermal blankets」。

  • Long-lasting antibacterial and deodorizing: Graphene's unique nanoscale two-dimensional structure is like tiny blades that can physically disrupt bacterial cell membranes, effectively inhibiting bacterial proliferation。This enables garments to greatly reduce sweat odor and other unpleasant smells even after heavy perspiration。

  • Anti-static and dust-resistant: Thanks to graphene's excellent electrical conductivity, it can quickly dissipate electrostatic charges generated on the fabric surface by friction。This means garments are less prone to static crackling when putting on or taking off clothes in winter, and the fabric is less likely to attract dust and lint from the air。

  • Ultraviolet (UV) protection: Graphene materials have the ability to absorb and reflect ultraviolet rays, providing an extra layer of protection for the skin, making them very suitable for use in outdoor sun-protective sportswear。
