Graphene aqueous solution

Graphene aqueous solution

Graphene aqueous dispersion(Graphene Aqueous Dispersion)is a liquid material formed by uniformly dispersing graphene in water. Because pristine graphene is hydrophobic and readily stacks and aggregates due to van der Waals forces, it usually requires adding surfactants or modifying it into oxidized graphene bearing oxygen-containing functional groups (e.g., hydroxyl, carboxyl) to use electrostatic repulsion to maintain a stable dispersion in water.

Core features

  • Eco-friendly and easy to process: using deionized water as a green solvent to replace traditional organic solvents, which not only reduces cost and toxicity, but also greatly improves the safety and convenience of subsequent drying/film formation, coating, or 3D printing processes.

  • Preserves key material properties: in the liquid-dispersed state, graphene still possesses extremely high specific surface area, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, and a rigid structure that is not easily collapsed.

  • Tunable concentration and form: concentrations can be adjusted according to industrial needs, enabling production ranging from highly fluid, low-viscosity inks to high-concentration, high-viscosity coating slurries.

Main application areas

  • Batteries and energy storage components: as an additive in aqueous conductive slurries for lithium-ion batteries and supercapacitors, it can reduce metal ion contamination and significantly improve high-rate charge/discharge efficiency and extend capacitor lifespan.

  • Electronics and functional coatings: widely used in conductive inks (printable on flexible substrates), thermal management coatings (such as server active and passive cooling), antistatic coatings, and encapsulation colloids.

  • Consumer and biomedical materials: leveraging polymer-graphene composites' unique antibacterial, deodorizing, and far-infrared properties, it can be used in the development of medical sensors, functional textile yarns, specialty detergents, and pet-friendly products.
